Super Challengers

Club Rules

Club Rules

These rules keep training running smoothly, maintain our winning standards on the field, and ensure everyone has a great time off it.

1. Training & Matchday Expectations

  • Punctuality: Arrive on time for training sessions and matchday warm-ups. If you are delayed, notify the team captain or manager as early as possible.
  • Selection & Availability: Update your availability for upcoming fixtures by the weekly deadline (e.g., Wednesday evening) so the selection committee can finalize the XI.
  • Kit & Gear: Wear the official Super Challengers playing kit on matchdays. Look after team gear, warm-up equipment, and match balls everyone helps carry, set up, and pack down gear.

2. Team Culture & On-Field Conduct

  • Back Your Teammates: We win together and lose together. Positive communication on the field and in the changing room is non-negotiable.
  • Respect Umpires & Opponents: Uphold the Spirit of Cricket at all times. Play competitive, hard cricket, but leave the debate to the captains.
  • Clubroom & Venue Courtesy: Respect local council grounds, home/away clubrooms, and facilities. Clean up after yourself after every match or training session.

3. Subscriptions & Duty Responsibilities

  • Financial Commitment: Subs and match fees must be paid according to the payment schedule agreed upon at the start of the season.
  • Duties: All squad members are expected to take their turn on team duties (e.g., scoring, umpiring shifts, ground prep, or post-match cleanups).
